Diversant: Building Relationships for the Long-Term

When you go on Diversant’s wonderful website, you will find plenty of useful and knowledgeable quotes. These quotes aren’t put up there for them to look good or feel good about themselves. They are put up there for a reason. It is because they believe in them and they are part of their everyday fabric. The one that sticks out to me at the moment is this one, “More than IT staffing, We’re an IT Connection Company.” Sometimes the company world can be ruthless and it can be tough. You might meet someone, shake their hand, and talk to them, but do you really know them? Do you know what they are about and what they stand for as individuals?

Diversant is all about building a connection, as when you build a connection, you build trust and you build a certain rapport. They want everyone to feel comfortable and feel like they can be themselves. If people have to walk on pins and needles and walk around scared or have to pretend to be someone they are not, chances are they will not succeed and they will not go very far. They aren’t being the best version of themselves. They haven’t built that connection, so they don’t feel comfortable showing their true colors and letting their hair down.

John Goullet is a big part of Diversant as he’s on their leadership and advisory board, and he likes to help train young people that were once in his shoes. They were bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and filled with optimism, questions, hope, and aspirations. He takes it upon himself to mold these young minds and get them ready for what the future holds. He is an honest, upfront, and down-to-earth guy. He isn’t brash, rude, and in-your-face. When you talk to him, you are immediately put at ease and the man is an open book if you ask the right questions and aren’t afraid to pick his brain. Goullet is there to help out the young people and get them on the right path and set up with a job that truly suits them and brings out their best.
